    • Obituary for Bo Gargus
      Mr. Bo Gargus, age 68 of Sedalia, KY passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 4:04 PM at his residence.

      He was of the Baptist Faith, the owner of Gargus Construction Company of Sedalia, KY, and the former owner of Shupe’s Nursery.

      Mr. Gargus is survived by his wife of 42 years- Carolyn Laird Gargus of Sedalia, KY; two sons- Mike (Meghan) Gargus and Charlie (Buffy) Gargus of Sedalia, KY; one daughter- Tracy (Tim) Taylor of Sedalia, KY; one brother- Ben (Susie) Gargus of Idaho City, ID; three sisters- Carolyn (Cloys) Bruce, Margaret (Carl) Key both of Mayfield, KY, and Mary Ann (Ronnie) McGuire of West Lafayette, IN; 8 grandchildren survive; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

      He was preceded in death by his parents- Charlie & Mary Emily Wilson Gargus; one brother- Charles Ray Gargus.

      Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY with Rev. Keith Allred & Rev. Brad Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.

      Pallbearers will be: Mike Gargus, Charlie Gargus, Tim Taylor, Davy Gargus, Walon Hicks, Micah Smith, Austin Ballard, and Larry Perry. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Larry Gregory, Jimmy Wiggins, Brad Wiggins, Jabo Perry, John Griffith, and Bob McClain.
