Geneva Noles

Mrs. Geneva Rue Noles, 92, of Union City and a former resident of Fulton, Kentucky died 7:20 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Mrs. Noles was born December 2, 1918 in Hickman County, Kentucky. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Fulton where she had been very active in many church organizations. She retired from the former Herny I. Siegel Company after forty years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Elmer and Annie Jewel (Gore) Stinnett; her husband Charles Attebery Noles whom she married on December 24, 1939. He died January 30, 1986; four brothers, H.E. Stinnett, Edmon Stinnett, Stanley Stinnett and Bill Stinnett; and two sisters, Dorothy Jean Stinnett and Mary Lou Binford.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles L. "Donnie" and Fonda Noles of Union City; her brother, Bill Stinnett of Indianapolis, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Michelle (husband Roy) Hodges of Terra Ceia, Florida, Charles Lee Seth and (wife Amber) Noles of Owensboro, Kentucky, Leigh Anne (husband Robbie) Neal of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Benjamin Tyler Noles, Heath Travis Noles, William Tanner Noles and Natalie Elizabeth Noles all of Union City; and two great grandchildren, Allie Paige Noles of Owensboro, Kentucky and Dalton Noles of Newbern.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Rick Burton will officiate Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Joe Newton, John Schwerdt, John Stinnett, John Kirk, Joe Kirk and Joe Wall.
